(1) SURFACE TREATING
Backup must be prepare properly before application of veneer stone. Area must be clean, consistent and free of grease. Then penetrate area by surface waterproofer and let dry for 12 hours. Please don't apply stone veneer onto the lime-cast.
(2) PREPARING THE WALL STONE VENEER
Veneer stone must be clean on the undersite.
(3) APPLICATION
- A recommendable advice is, to prepare at least 1 square meter on the ground, to better see their texture and composition of the wall stone veneer.
- Apply the adhesive and make ribs in the glue (not less than 5 mm).
- Start to install the stones. Give the glue to the back of every piece of stone veneer. If you have corner piece for wall corner cladding, then start with above same way. After that you can glue the stones to the rest of the area.
(4) TO FILL JOINTS
Slanec - please don't leave mortar joint.
Castle wall stone - suggest make mortar joint.
Broken stone - looks better without moratr joint.
Rock stone - suggest make mortar joint.
Cobblestone - suggest make mortar joint.
(5) SUGGESTION TO CARE FOR VENEER STONE
If your stone veneers are installed at high humid external walls or other places, please seal by water-repellent STONESIL. To clean, please use duster, sponge, brush(not wire brush).
